What is Restoration for Women?

Restoration for Women is a faith-based organization. We want to see women of all ages living lives free from the bondages caused by hurt, fear, doubt, and brokenness. We believe that regardless of your past or current situation, a life rooted in peace, joy, and love is available to you – a life lived the way God intended for us…FREE.

Each of us have areas in which we struggle. Some of us are keenly aware of our shortcomings. Others can feel the symptoms of a life lived with brokenness, but they don’t know why, or more importantly, how to fix it. We envision the life we want to live but we don’t know how to get there.

Restoration for Women is the bridge from where we are to where we want to be. The Emerge and Soar Mentorship was not learned in a classroom or through a textbook, but rather a journey personally walked and successfully lived out. It doesn’t matter what walk of life you come from, whether you have been a Christian your whole life or if you are just beginning to pursue your relationship with Jesus Christ, the message of Restoration will meet you wherever you are.

Restoration for Women promotes opportunity for all, including people from different racial, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds. The organization will train, educate, and build awareness to support fair growth and equal opportunity for all. We strive to support, embrace, and encourage one another, to make a continuous effort to respectfully collaborate with everyone, both inside and outside of the corporation.

If you are unsure whether you need Restoration or not, we challenge you to truthfully ask yourself these questions:

Do I struggle with anger? Do I wish I didn’t yell at my kids, spouse, or others?

Am I anxious?

Do I view God as anything other than a loving Father?

Is there an area of my life which I keep hidden from others?

Do I wrestle with feelings of shame, guilt, or insecurity?

Is there anyone in my life I have not forgiven?

Do I trust God’s good intentions for me?

Do I depend more on the “rules” of Christianity rather than on Christ himself?

If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, there’s a good chance your life is built on a shaky foundation. Salvation makes us right with God, but Christ died for so much more than only the forgiveness of sin. He died for your freedom. So what do you say? Are you ready to live free?

“The thief's purpose is to steal, kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”

— John 10:10

Lisa DiMaio

Lisa DiMaio is the founder and director of Restoration for Women. She attends Compassion Church in Radford, Virginia. Restoration was born out of her own story. There was a time in her life that she was in a place where she was living with brokenness and she didn’t know why, or more importantly how to fix it. But God intervened in a powerful way. She has EMERGED and SOARED and is walking in healing and freedom. Lisa knows first hand what it’s like to be restored. Since then, she has been on the path of teaching others how to find freedom through Restoration.

Lisa lives in Riner, Virginia, with her husband Paul and two children, Andrew and Sarah. She is a certified Christian Coach, and owns a property management company and has done so for 24 years. When she is not speaking and ministering at Restoration, she enjoys reading, hiking, spending time at the lake/ocean, and spending quality time with her family.
